Ghana’s Time with David is hosted by David Ampofo, an award winning journalist, television personality, documentary film-maker and public affairs & media consultant who has over the years cultivated a unique understanding of Ghanaian society.
David is a product of Ghanaian society and his keen insight stems from years of living in Ghana, travelling Africa and working at the cutting edge of Ghanaian news as an investigative journalist and television interviewer. He obtained a degree in Politics and Philosophy from Escuela Nico Lopez in Cuba and later a Masters in Journalism from the University of Wales in the UK.
He is an assertive independent thinker, a diligent professional with a style that is engaging, intellectually aggressive and thoroughly professional.
David has extensive television experience both in Ghana and abroad and has worked as a Presidential Correspondent for Ghana Television between 1988 and 1992. His experiences include working on assignments in South Africa and West Africa as a correspondent for Carte Blanche, broadcast throughout Africa on DSTV.
